The Refugee Employment Program functions to prepare refugees for employment in the United States and offers job placement services. Employment services include workplace orientation, assistance with applications and interviews, transportation, and interpretation. After the first job placement, follow-up services can include assistance with career laddering, re-credentialing, micro-enterprise development, and financial education intended to further career development in Kentucky.
Employment and career development services are funded through Refugee Social Service (RSS) and Targeted Assistance (TAG).
